Welcome to Goring Tennis Club

Our Club covers Goring-on-Thames and Streatley,
together with the surrounding District and is situated
between Reading and Oxford.

We are a friendly local club of some 170 adult members,
that welcomes players of all ages and abilities. We
cater for players wishing to take part in competitive
inter club tournaments to more gentler
(sometimes!) social tennis and all spectrums in
between.

We also have a thriving Junior Section with some 120 members of varying ages.

Our clubhouse is nestled in the Goring Gap valley where the River Thames cuts through the Chiltern Hills.

We are most fortunate in looking out over beautiful open countryside and often have Red Kites soaring over the tennis courts as we play. Despite our past chairman using this as an excuse for his occasional lapse of concentration, we have adopted the Red Kite as one of our Club Emblems.
 

The Year 2008 celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the Goring Tennis Club.
