After the excertions of the day, the players were treated to a barbecue at the lovely venue, Frank’s residence.

Thank goodness the weather held out, and in front a turn out of over 60 club members, our gallant winners and runners up were all awarded their cups and bottles of Champagne (actually Cava, but just as good).

Peter as Chairman also gave a fond Farewell to Patricia and Jan-Paul K on behalf of all the club.

Many thanks to Frank and Cherry C, for the lovely venue. Also to Linda and Mike B and the small committee of volunteers for working so hard to make the evening a fitting end to a great day's tennis, and finally to our club captain Mark and his wife Sue for all the organising and just plain hard graft they both put into making any Goring Tennis Club event a hit.
