Welcome to Goring Tennis Club’s Junior section!

The Juniors are a thriving part of Goring Tennis Club and a range of courses, activities, team play and tournaments is available for members from 5 to 18 years of age.

Mini squads, organised by Doris N, allow youngsters to practise ball skills at after-school sessions. As confidence increases, younger players can move into one of the coaching squads run on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings by Jon H, the club professional. Jon H also organises coaching camps during the Easter and Summer school holidays for members and non-members. In addition to coaching, the Junior Committee organises a variety of tournaments throughout the year, some fun, some more competitive. Senior/junior versatility tournaments have proved popular over the past year as junior members pair with senior players and accumulate points by playing everyone else in the tournament.

Goring Tennis Club Juniors regularly fields teams in local leagues to great success and Chris B has worked hard organising fixtures for the Under 14 Boys team.

Junior Membership Reminder

Please be reminded that you must renew your membership to continue playing in coaching squads, teams and competitions. All of last year's members were sent forms and reminders, as were all new squad members. If you have lost the form, moved, or just forgotten, please contact John J at:
