Intra Club Tournaments
Club Tournaments (e.g. American tournament) and Club Championships.
2004 Situation
In this area, importance seems to range from middle to high with satisfaction around the middle. It is difficult to gauge what is wanted here, so we are trying to improve the numbers taking part in tournaments.
For the club championships lower levels of importance were expressed here, with satisfaction leveling around the 7 mark. This is not a clear picture and indicates that we should perhaps try to do some different things to attract more people into the tournaments.
To summarise, from the suggestions given it would be fair to say that we need to look at ways to attract more people, at all standards.

Over the last few years there have been a number of additional tournaments involving a wider number of members, including:
The Club Championships has also attracted a much wider interest and is no longer only entered by just the top players in the club. The addition of the Men’s Restricted Singles and the tiered nature of the Doubles events has also contributed to a wider participation.
